Located in Marlton, NJ, Coordinated Project Solutions LLC (CPS) provides consulting, project management and owner’s representation services for the construction industry. The company has special expertise in the development of state-of-the-art adult care communities.
As a new start-up, CPS was looking to set up its small business office network. The company was looking to partner with a company that had the expertise and the experience in networking while keeping costs manageable. The company chose World Wide Web Communications (3wC) to advise, oversee and implement its entire network setup.
Our work began by conducting a detailed assessment of the client’s needs. 3wC’s goal was to make recommendations for equipment and set up infrastructure in the most cost effective way while keeping in mind the client’s future expansion needs.
To save costs on office setup, we built a secure wireless internal network. We arranged for business class internet connectivity and used a firewall with VPN capabilities. The company’s office server was configured with all the required software and services such as Active Directory, Print Server and File Server. We recommended the use of a local and offsite backup solution for server backups for added security, reliability, and maintenance-free usage. We set up client user’s laptops with all the necessary software & VPN capabilities as well as docking station and additional LCD monitors.
In addition we also helped with Google email hosting for client’s Blackberry users and DNS hosting for the company’s domain.
In the end we were able to deliver to our client a complete networking solution at a very affordable cost. The solution is secure, scalable and designed to use latest technologies. The company’s staff users have VPN access and can share networked resources. Overall our solution promotes effective use of technology for the company’s day to day business needs.
